Have you ever been woken up at 5 a.m by the most nauseating smell of dog shit? I did. Today. It is then, that I thought and viscerally felt the following words with and in my whole body:
Empowerment is not just an overused marketing slogan. It’s not just a silly empty word that you hear and read on any self respecting influencer’s feed or in every modern serious business person's Linkedin posts.
Empowerment is an attitude and it means not the same to everyone.
It starts by asking your Self where you need to be empowered. It starts by identifying your weaknesses and by establishing your triggers. (I personally was not only triggered by the dog shit but by the overwhelming feeling of lack of control, exhaustion and shame)
It starts by self reflection.
It can only work if the direction is UP.
"Level-up" is the state of mind required for empowerment.
It's about amping-up our vol(t)age!
The higher the vol(t)age, the more current will flow.
In the below picture you can see the culprit's or better my "dog guru's" paws as he nonchalantly snoozes in the middle of my selfie!!
